Opportunities are— Visit USAFA down @ C-Springs.
Tour the US Denver Mint in Downtown Denver.
….From Ross Shulmister—This may not be a viable option as a group
activity. Tours run 10 am to 2 pm; most arrivals will be after noon.
Getting from the airport to the hotel, checking in (before check-in
time) and assembling at (or to go to) the Mint would not be practicable
within the time frames permitted. If there is interest in a Friday tour,
groups have to be booked 2-3 weeks in advance. Otherwise, it's a
stand-in-line first-come-first-serve space-available event (although I
doubt they turn people away).
Tour the Coors Brewery in Golden.
Baseball—Rockies vs. Philadelphia Phillies @ Coors Field—7 PM.
Drive thru/in the Rocky Mountains—Mt. Evans; Lake Dillon; Rocky Mountain
National Park.
Gambling in Blackhawk and Central City—1 hour west of Denver. |
